What started out at first as an pleasant visit to the newly opened local chocolate factory cafe quickly turned into a project to rebrand Boo & Bear, a handcraft gift business. Katie, the owner, was ready to expand the business and explore new challenges. She enlisted me to tell the story of Boo & Bear.
Defining the brand creates an objective roadmap. By checking against this statement, we can quickly see whether any decisions will help or hurt, focus or muddy, purify or modify the brand. After a deep-dive strategy session with Katie, a clear brand story and voice for Boo & Bear was identified.
